Belief in Divine Reward and Retribution.

Part 1 discusses the Principle of accountability - that human beings are held responsible for their actions, that no deed goes unnoticed by G-d, and that good deeds are rewarded either in this world or, for the most part, in the Afterlife, while transgressions are also dealt with in like manner. Part 2 of the lecture deals with the topic "Why does it appear that the Righteous suffer and the Wicked prosper."
