This lecture, delivered by Rabbi Elyahu Kin in 2012, discusses the Jewish New Year "Rosh Hashana" - which traditionally is also a day of judgment for the entire world when the Heavenly Books of Life and Death are opened. This day, culminating with Yom Kippur is, therefore, a time for serious introspection. In this lecture Rabbi Kin stresses how the most powerful tool at our disposal - Prayer - can be used effectively - to win our day in the Heavenly Court and improve our chances of having a blessed year.
